At age 19,a time when most people still have no clue as to what the future holds for them, the young Gbenga Badejo already bagged a B.Sc (Hons) in Geography from the prestigious University of Ibadan, Nigeria’s premiere University.
A seasoned and versatile practicing accountant and management consultant, Mr. Badejo acquired professional training with an International firm of Chartered Accountants, BDO Binder Balogun Badejo & Co-Chartered Accountants. where he was exposed to Specialized Audit, Accountancy, Investigation, Taxation and Management Consultancy Services for diverse clients in different sectors of the economy (between 1985 and 1988) and Ayorinde Thomas & Co.-Chartered Accountants (between 1988 and 1991).
He left Ayorinde Thomas & Co. in 1991 where he rose to the position of an Audit Manager and joined SO&U Ltd now SO & U Saatchi & Saatchi. (A leading Integrated Marketing Communications outfit) in 1991 where he rose to the position of Chief Accountant / Head of Admin.
In addition to being a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria(ICAN), he is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria(CITN) and Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Management ( NIM).
Mr.Gbenga Badejo has attended several management courses at the prestigious Lagos Business School.
He is currently a senior Managing Partner at Gbenga Badejo & Co., Chartered Accountants (with GBC Consulting as its Consulting arm) specializing in Assurance, Management Consultancy, Insolvency, Taxation, Corporate re-organization and restructuring, Mergers and Acquisition, Business Incubation and Business Advisory Services.
A very strong believer in the bright future of not only the youth in Nigeria but also in the entire globe,Mr.Badejo is an unrepentant advocate for a better society where everyone is giving a chance to achieve their dreams within the ambit of the law.
